Connecting the North Country

The Community Builders Hub, in collaboration with Canaan Naturally Connected, have organized an event to be held at the co-sponsoring venue of Mohawk Falls in Colebrook, NH on Sept. 25th, starting at 5:30 p.m.  The “Connecting the North Country” gathering is intended to bring community members together for an evening of discussions about common topics of importance for northern Coos County, NH and bordering communities in northeastern Essex County, VT.

“Our hope is to get a diverse mix of community members together to exchange ideas, learn about what groups are working on and resources available, find opportunities to partner on efforts, engage new participants and broaden our circles to drive positive change,” said Britni Haley, Community Steward for the Canaan/Colebrook/Stratford region.

A social hour will kick off the evening, with a free buffet of assorted sandwiches and snacks provided courtesy of LaPerle’s IGA. The bar will be open for purchase of beverages and the setting will be prime for viewing fall foliage. A common table to share business cards, brochures and promotional materials will be available for participating businesses and organizations.

Following will be a roundtable style discussion. Anyone interested in being a part of positive change in our communities is invited to attend! The evening will conclude with casual conversations around a campfire, as weather permits.

There is no cost to attend, but registration and selection of topics of interest is required by 9/11/24 by filling out the Google form at: https://forms.gle/UKuhNFKdcU4ukmeQ7. Any questions may be directed to Britni Haley at britni@thecbh.org; 802-277-1974.
