Whitefield is keeping the spirit of good neighbors alive with Doug’s Winter Party! Inspired by 85-year-old Doug, who went viral for delivering handwritten invitations to his neighbors for a gathering and we’re bringing to Whitefield! Doug showed us that community starts with a simple “come on over.”
This event is brought to you by The Community Builders Hub in partnership with the Whitefield Police Department, making sure the gathering is just like Doug planned, “4 PM until the cops show up” (don’t worry, they’re already invited!)
Consider this your handwritten invitation! Bring a dish, a friend, or just yourself and we’ll see you there!
What to Expect:
A Cozy Community Potluck – Bring a dish to share (or just bring yourself—we’ll have plenty!)
Music and Good Vibes – Enjoy tunes that keep the winter blues away!
Winter Fun for All Ages – Kids can sled on the sliding hill out back!
