By meeting with Echo Valley Village’s property manager and the Pittsburg Key Club, we have found an opportunity to work together on a project to benefit the seniors living at this apartment complex in Pittsburg. As a way to bring the senior residents together and build community, we are hosting a free Thanksgiving lunch on Nov. 22 at 12:30. This was made possible with turkeys provided by the Colebrook Food Pantry, operated by Area Churches Working Together, and other food & supply contributions from the partners involved. We can’t wait to bring this joyful event to the community room at Echo Valley Village, and continue to find ways to bring social connectedness to the seniors of the area.
